the interesting thing.I'm not saying it's monumental or anything. Certainly not. How much weight can a DeviantART account /really/ have in the life of a person? But for some reason I'm always a little amused when I find myself here, uploading things.
Let me run down my life, and show that we're all in the same boat:
I'm finishing high school.
I'm waiting for my "big break" into the writing world.
I'm not concerned with religion.
I'm not interested in sex.
I'm not wealthy.
I'm ridiculously attached to a girl.
I'm incredibly happy.
Maybe -- if I can bother you to stay with me for a moment more -- the interesting thing is that when you ask someone to describe how things are going, it's always an answer that starts with "I." It's human nature, yes, but maybe there's something more to it.
Let me reevaluate my life for a moment, then:
I'm finishing high school.
I'm waiting for my "big break" into the writing world.

The girl I'm seeing tells me she finally feels /really/ alive.
I'm incredibly happy.
It doesn't look like much, but for me, that's a world of difference.
